It’s Friday! Does it seem to you the weeks speed by even faster during the summer? It doesn’t seem possible that it’s almost August.

This week I introduced a new regular Midstack feature: a Notes share thread. If you have a Note that you would to get a little attention from other midlife women, please tell us about it here.

The First Midstack Notes Spotlight

Here’s how the Midstack Friday share thread works:

• In the comments of this post, briefly introduce yourself and your Substack (just a sentence or two)

• Tell us (again briefly) what you’re sharing this week

• Drop the link to your post or Note

• Spend a few minutes on other people’s work too: comment, restack, like, or share

• If someone's writing pulls you in, subscribe. That's how we grow together!

• Come back throughout the weekend and into next week. (This thread keeps going all week long!)

If an essay connects with you, say so on the piece itself, not just here in the comments. And if you’ve already engaged with someone’s work outside this thread, please like here too, so they know.
