Share Your Latest Note (or Post)
Our weekly share thread for midlife women on Substack
Happy Friday!
We’ve had a lot of new people join us here at Midstack during the past week. Welcome!
If you are new around here, welcome to your first Share Thread! Two or three times a month I host a comment thread for you to share your latest Post or Note.
This week let’s try something a little different: share a Note with us. (I know for some of you Notes aren’t really your thing. Feel free to share a recent Post instead!)
I’m not going to claim to be an expert in whatever algorithm is happening right now with Notes. However, one thing is clear: the more readers interact with your Notes, the more people start to see it in their feed. And the more people interact with your Notes, the more likely you are to find readers and subscribers.
So the purpose of our Notes share thread is to:
write comments on each Midstackers’ Notes
restack or “quote restack” others’ Notes
Here’s what to do:
In the comments, begin with a short description of your Note — or quote the Note itself.
Post the link to the Note. To find the link to a Note, click on the three little dots on the right side of the Note and click on “Copy link.”
Make sure to find at least two or three Notes that resonate with you to interact with by commenting or restacking. It might be a good idea to come back to the thread over the next several days to find more Notes.
If you don’t participate much in Notes — or don’t have a Note that you’d like to share — you’re more than welcome to post a link to your latest essay or article instead.

I can’t wait to read all these! My note was for a new post recommending 6 new or upcoming novels that are sister stories 👯♀️ https://substack.com/@katebraithwaiteauthor/note/c-234082662?r=1nkyhd&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action
Here’s my note: I’m counting the days until my memoir is published and today is 49 days out. https://substack.com/@kdbonville/note/c-234083929?r=4e5q4&utm_medium=ios&utm_source=notes-share-action
